In the summer of 2015, I embarked on my first journey to the South of France, freshly divorced after a seven-year marriage. Determined to embrace adventure and resist the fear of the unknown, I refused to let my wings be clipped simply because I was now flying solo. With a fearless spirit, I boarded a plane to Nice-Côte d’Azur, the blue coast, and from that moment, there was no turning back.

From the vibrant streets of Nice to the sun-kissed beaches of Saint-Tropez, and the lavender fields of Provence, I felt the light streaming into my life. This journey gifted me a newfound sense of freedom and liberation that had eluded me until then. The fragrance of lavender fields ravaged my senses, and the exhilaration of swimming topless in the sea in Saint-Tropez remains etched in my memory. Dining on socca and savoring rosé in Old Town Nice became moments of pure enchantment and romance.

By early 2016, through a stroke of pure alchemy, I found myself living in the picturesque village of Saint-Jeannet in the Alpes-Maritimes. Nestled just north of Nice, this village, known as the backdrop for Cary Grant’s iconic scene in “To Catch a Thief,” became my home for a year and a half. During this time, I explored the South of France extensively, from the glamorous Riviera to the charming villages of Provence. Every corner I turned felt familiar, every experience enriched by the local life, cuisine, art, and history—it was as if I had found where I truly belonged.

Returning to the States in late 2017, I maintained a deep connection with the South of France, averaging a visit every three months until the pandemic halted travel worldwide. Finally, in 2022, as travel resumed, I eagerly rekindled my love affair with this region that had become the home of my heart.

Now, as someone who has intimately explored and embraced the South of France, I am passionate about sharing this transformative destination with other women. It is a place that has irrevocably changed me, and I am excited to invite you to join me on a journey that promises to leave you unequivocally transformed.

Nice-Côte d’Azur

Each woman arrives at Nice Côte d’Azur, where our journey begins with a delightful aperitif and seaside bite. I'll guide you in ordering a local drink that will pique the curiosity of French waiters, showcasing our adventurous spirit as non-native connoisseurs. Afterward, we'll leisurely stroll through Old Town Nice, soaking in its historic charm, before venturing into the enchanting foothills of the Alpes-Maritimes.

Alpes-Maritime Villages

Our next stop will be a boutique hotel nestled in the shadow of the perched village of Saint-Jeannet, renowned as the backdrop for Cary Grant’s iconic debut scene in ‘To Catch a Thief.’ Here, we'll immerse ourselves in the medieval charm of neighboring Saint-Paul-de-Vence, a historic haven for artists. We'll savor an unforgettable dining experience at the renowned La Colombe d’Or, a legendary establishment frequented by luminaries such as Chagall (who rests there), Yves Montand, and notably, James Baldwin, who spent the last 17 years of his life in this inspiring locale.

Hiking the Gorges

In the Alpes-Maritimes, famed for its majestic hiking trails, turquoise ravines, and crystal-clear pools, we'll venture forth with rosé and baguettes in hand. Our hike leads us to these pristine pools, where we'll enjoy a revitalizing swim. Surrounded by stunning vistas and fresh mountain air, this rejuvenating experience will energize us for the next part of our journey through the South of France.

Provence

Provence, a wonderland of French romance and a cultural treasure trove, awaits us with its picturesque villages and Provencal charm. Our journey will include stops at several enchanting villages, where we'll immerse ourselves in local life. From savoring muscat and sampling regional delicacies to wandering through lavender fields, bargaining at antique markets, and exploring ancient churches, each experience will enchant us anew, deepening our love affair with this timeless region.

Juan-Les-Pins

Juan-les-Pins, nestled within Antibes, is famed for its stunning sandy beaches, charming boutiques, and vibrant restaurant scene, including the iconic Hemingway bar. A hotspot for artists and writers during the roaring '20s, it exudes a timeless allure. Our journey includes a special visit to a boutique favored by locals, where we'll discover the essence of South of France style. Later, we'll unwind with cocktails at the Hemingway bar, reflecting on the captivating story of Hadley Hemingway, Ernest's first wife and the love of his life.

*Additionally, a short trip to nearby Saint-Raphael offers the opportunity to explore the mystical Cave of Mary Magdalene. This sacred site connects us to the legendary narrative of Mary Magdalene, who settled in the South of France for the last 30 years of her life, adding a fascinating layer of history and spirituality to our coastal exploration.

Saint-Tropez

Saint-Tropez exudes an irresistible blend of glitz and glam. During our stay, we'll indulge in panoramic views, meander through the charming old town, sip pastis, enjoy fresh oysters on the beach, and experience the liberating joy of swimming topless in the Riviera sea. Saint-Tropez promises to fulfill our dreams of an idyllic life, with a special focus on the romance of Mick and Bianca Jagger, who famously wed in this enchanting town.

Simply arrange your round-trip travel to Nice Côte d'Azur airport. Upon arrival, take a tram to the town center where our group will come together, one by one. From there, I'll personally handle every aspect of our adventure.
Please note, while all your accommodation, transportation, meals, and drinks are included, bring along spending money for exploring local markets and indulging in any personal extras that catch your eye.
The South of France boasts a sunny, Mediterranean climate that can get quite hot. My recommendation is to pack light and opt for breathable linen and airy fabrics. With so many tempting shops along the Riviera, it's easy to accumulate treasures, so packing light initially is wise.
Since we'll be traveling together in a shared vehicle, it's practical to bring one smaller-sized suitcase, a backpack for hiking and beach days, and a purse. Essentials like your bikini, sneakers, and sandals are a must, along with a few dresses and sunglasses. Let the French Riviera take care of the rest—relax and enjoy the journey!
This is boutique and customized travel, designed to foster intimacy and personal transformation, so our group will include 4-6 women.
As demand and interest grow, additional trips may be organized alongside the initial one. However, maintaining a small group size is essential to preserve the intimate and personalized nature of our journey.
By participating in our 8-night tour of the south of France, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Personal Responsibility: We are not responsible for any personal items that are lost, stolen, or damaged during the trip. It is the responsibility of each traveler to ensure the safety and security of their belongings.
2. Health and Fitness: Each traveler must be in good health and physically capable of participating in the tour activities. If you have any medical conditions or concerns, please consult with your doctor before booking.
3. International Travel Insurance: All travelers are required to have valid international travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellations, lost luggage, and other travel-related issues. Proof of insurance must be provided before the trip.
4. Injury and Accidents: While we prioritize your safety and well-being, we cannot be held liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the trip. Travelers participate in all activities at their own risk.
5. Vehicle Insurance: The vehicle used for transportation during the tour is fully insured. The cost of this insurance is included in the price of the tour.
6. Application Requirement and Group Compatibility: To ensure the best experience for all participants, an application is required to join the tour. The chemistry of the group is paramount, and we reserve the right to reject any application based on our assessment of how well an individual may fit in with the group, including but not limited to considerations of personality, health-related issues, and overall compatibility. This ensures that all members can enjoy a cohesive and harmonious tour environment.
7. Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your participation in the tour, you are responsible for the full cost of the trip unless a replacement can be found. The replacement must be suitable for the group and approved through the application process. We will assist in trying to find a replacement, but cannot guarantee a suitable replacement will be found
