What is the journey from fundamentalism and bibliolatry to engaging the Bible well, with respect and hermeneutical integrity? Let’s explore these intersections together.

    Living in a virtual and digital age where information and misinformation travels as the speed of light, traditional forms of belief can seem outmoded and at times out of touch. What does it look like to engage theological thought with your head and heart? Let’s take a deep dive together. Nothing is off limits.

    Interacting in new ways with the Bible can be life giving. Theological comprehension can give us new directions for our faith. But when it comes to our spirituality and its formation how do we invite these two disciplines in conversation in ways that are transformative and regenerative? Let’s find out together.

  • You will have access to a monthly 1:1 zoom call with me. This is your chance and your hour each month to talk openly about some of your theological squabbles, your burning questions of faith, and talk through some of your deconstruction and faith transitions. If you have struggled with post-church trauma, or rebuilding your identity after traditional Christianity, or even fundamentalism, or perhaps you need to have theological conversation each month to enhance and evolve your own intellect and imagination or maybe you need to bounce ideas and dream a little with a fellow dreamer and thinker. This hour each month is designed to be a time of respite, challenge, and life.

  • This is partly up to you. Many times someone will come to me with a particular topic they need to work through such as after life theologies, hell, rapture, salvation, meaning-making, etc. If possible, I will ask in advance for you to send me questions/topics you would like me to help you engage before each session. However, if you prefer to work your way through various ideas of theology, God, faith, and meaning with an agenda set by me that is also an option. These conversations are what you want them to be. I will also follow up with notes and video/audio recordings of our conversations so you can go back and revisit.

  • The way the structure is currently set, we meet once a month. However, if you prefer to meet more or less we can talk about this on a case-by-case basis.

  • This happens via zoom. I record and take notes on each session so you can have them to refer back to.

  • The cost is $50-$100 per hour depending on what you can afford. The time I spend pre and post session, preparing for our time together and then with follow up takes quite a bit of time. Therefore the sessions are preferably set at $100. However, I have set up a sliding scale based on what each person can afford.
